Our guides are based on guidelines from medical societies, information from public authorities and consumer organisations, and the medical literature. We list our sources at the end of every article.

Medical review

Medical content is reviewed before publication by a doctor in the relevant specialty. Their name and specialty appear at the top of the article.

Keeping content current

Every article shows when it was published and last updated. We review our content regularly and correct mistakes as soon as we learn about them.
